AYR boosts its energy efficiency with a self-consumption solar installation financed by the European Union
At AYR, we continue to advance our commitment to industrial innovation, sustainability, and the continuous improvement of our production processes. As part of this vision, we have installed a photovoltaic solar system for self-consumption at our industrial facilities.
This project has been financed within the incentive program linked to self-consumption and storage with renewable energy sources, within the framework of Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, promoted by the Government of Spain and financed by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.
An investment in efficiency, sustainability and the future
The installation has a power of 30 kW on an industrial deck, which allows us to:
- Reduce energy consumption from conventional sources
- Improve the operational efficiency of our facilities
- Reduce our carbon footprint
- Strengthening our commitment to a more sustainable industrial model
The project has involved a total investment of €29,625, with aid granted of €10,333.16, within the component C7:I1 – Development of innovative renewable energies integrated into buildings and production processes.
