Yes. For this, you need to purchase the wired AYR V Lock model, which incorporates a regulation system to be powered by 12 V DC.
What happens if the AYR V Lock runs out of battery?
A safety opening will be performed and it will remain open until the battery is recharged.
Can it be installed on the rear and side doors?
The rear door usually presents no problems beyond choosing the flattest and most structurally sound one for proper installation. For the side door, you need to consider the gap between the door and the side of the van when it's open, as this is where the indoor unit is typically installed.
Can one tag or bracelet open several different AYR V LOCKs?
Yes. Each wristband and tag can be registered to as many AYR V Locks as desired. The only limitation is a maximum of 50 keys per device.
Can I install the device myself or do I need a professional?
Yes. Installation isn't particularly difficult, but it's important to do it correctly. The door must be in good condition, without any sagging or dents, avoiding any rubbing of the bolt against the strike plate, and ensuring proper alignment of the lock with the magnet to guarantee a secure closure.
