Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my door?

It works with cam and gear locks, and with European (recommended), Swiss, UK and oval profile cylinders, with a rose or a plate. The lock must open and close smoothly. See the compatibility guide or message us on WhatsApp.

Can I install it myself?

Yes. You just need a double-clutch cylinder, a lock that turns without stiffness and a door that closes properly. If you'd rather not do it yourself, add professional installation by AYR-certified technicians in the basket.

Do I need to cut the key?

Usually not: AYR Pass has a roomy housing for the inside key. If your key is bigger, the head is cut off and the cut-key adaptor is used. Check the measurements in the manual.

How do I charge the battery?

It slides out from the bottom thanks to its magnetic connection and charges with a USB-C cable and a 5 V charger (at least 1 A) in 4 to 8 hours. The red LED flashes while charging and the blue one shows when it's full.

Does it work without internet?

To open with the app, your phone needs an internet connection. To open without data, use the AYR Keypad or the AYR Key Pro remote.

What's the difference between AYR Pass and AYR Pass Lite?

AYR Pass has a vibration alarm, auto-lock and three finishes. AYR Pass Lite is the simpler version, in white, for opening and locking from your phone and managing temporary access.

What warranty do they have?

A 3-year AYR warranty and spare parts available for 10 years. You can extend the warranty by a further 2 years in your basket.

How much is delivery?
