Does it work with any entryphone?
With all analogue entryphones. Digital ones usually need the installation adapting, so it's best to ask a professional. Capacitive ones need an adaptor supplied by AYR. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll check.
Can I install it myself?
It can be self-installed, but handling the entryphone incorrectly can cause faults in it or in the central unit. We recommend booking installation with AYR: an authorised installer checks compatibility beforehand and leaves it working.
Do I need to touch the building's central unit or other entryphones?
No. AYR Interphone fits in your home's entryphone and doesn't require any changes to bells, central units or shared equipment.
Does someone have to ring before I can open?
With analogue entryphones, no: you open straight from the app. With digital ones using a simple connection, a call from the street door is usually needed first; with the dual output of AYR Interphone version 1.2, opening from the app is enough.
Why do I need the Nex Pro gateway?
The street door is usually far from the entryphone, even on another floor, and Bluetooth can't reach it. That's why the app opens remotely through Nex Pro, quickly and reliably.
I'm an installer – do you work with professionals?
Yes. In the AYR authorised installer network we train and certify you, send you customer requests from your area and give you direct technical support from the factory. Join the network.
What warranty do they have?
A 3-year AYR warranty and spare parts available for 10 years. You can extend the warranty by a further 2 years in your basket.
